Maintenance Engineer Salary: £52,719.28

Shift Pattern: 4x on 4x off Days and nights 12x hour shift

Benefits: Up to 8% pension contributions, Annual performance-based bonus etc

Orion is partnered with a very fast paced manufacturing business located in Birmingham which is recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and have a minimum of 1x years experience working in the UK in a manufacturing environment.

Maintenance Engineer Duties:

• Maintenance of heavy industrial plant machinery such as furnaces, forging, vacuum systems, milling machines, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
• Maintenance of plant facilities
• Maintain manual lathers, milling machines, planers, bar peelers etc
• Maintenance of Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
• Work proactively to maintain and repair equipment across the plant facility
• PPM s

Maintenance Engineer Experience:

• Must have at least 2x years experience working with heavy industrial plant machinery such as furnaces, forging, vacuum systems, milling machines, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
• Must have experience with plant facilities maintenance
• Ideally will have experience maintaining CNC machinery(not essential)
• Must be confident with electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Experience stripping and rebuilding machinery
• Must have experience welding, fitting
• Must have experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Must have an electrical or mechanical qualification HND/NVQ

• Machinery installation and commissioning experience
• Reliable and flexible attitude to work.
• Excellent communication skills.
