This new and exciting role is for a hardworking and well experienced Warehouse Operative to start in January! Hours & Salary: Temporary ongoing position with potential to go permanent for the right candidate. (Monday Friday 7am start, 52.5 hours which is 42.5 hours at standard rate and 10 hours at overtime rate) £12.50 per hour for standard hours and overtime is £15.63 per hour for hours worked over 42.5 hours Location: Clyst St Mary, Exeter, Devon, EX5 As a Warehouse Operative you will carry out core activities including; picking orders manually from order sheets, loading and unloading stock to and from pallets as well as vehicles, pallet shrink wrapping and operating machinery once trained. Weekly pay, full-time hours and excellent earning potential! Essential Skills You must have the following to qualify: Own transport. (Due to the location of the role; public transport is limited) Loading and unloading experience. At least 1 years experience in Warehouse or Production. Organised, methodical and dexterous. Motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to work to deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Able to read English well, due to pick sheets. Willing to learn and progress within a fast paced environment. Physically fit as you will be on your feet for the duration of the shift. Day to Day Duties : Operate designated machine safely and competently, ensuring that all HSE and housekeeping standards are maintained. Picking and Packing. Lifting boxes weighing up to 25kg. Carry out designated tasks as instructed Complete schedules, sequences and assignments. Maintain an organised / visual workspace. Support key initiatives such as on time delivery, Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager. Be willing to provide colleagues with the information they need to complete their tasks and eliminate roadblocks.
