Oxbridge Graduate - Aspiring Secondary Teacher Westminster
Are you an Oxbridge graduate with a passion for education and a long-term goal of becoming a secondary school teacher?A high-performing, inclusive Secondary School in the London Borough of Westminster is offering an exceptional opportunity for a talented graduate to gain hands-on classroom experience in a structured and supportive environment.This full-time, term-time only position starts ASAP and is ideal for an Oxbridge graduate eager to build classroom experience before progressing onto teacher training (Schools Direct, PGCE, or salaried routes).
ROLE SUMMARY
Support a specialist subject department (English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, etc.)Work with pupils across KS3-KS5, delivering targeted interventions and enrichment activitiesProvide 1:1 support to SEN students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potentialAssist teachers in delivering engaging, high-quality lessonsReceive structured training, mentoring, and CPD throughout the yearPlay an active role in promoting academic excellence and student wellbeing
SALARY & START
£22,000 - £26,000 per annum (term-time only)Full-time January 2026 - July 2026Potential to progress into a teacher training role from July 2026

2:1 or First-Class Degree from Oxford or Cambridge UniversityExcellent academic background (AAA at A-Level or equivalent)Strong subject knowledge and intellectual curiosityConfident communicator with a passion for learningEmpathetic, patient, and motivated to make a differenceGenuine commitment to a career in teaching
