Summary
_ Role available as either full time (up to £40,000 DOE) or part time (up to £40,000 DOE Pro rata) _
We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable individual to take on the responsibilities of HSE lead within the company. This role will require you to maintain structure and compliance with HSE law whilst helping promote a work culture focused on the importance of Health and Safety.

Responsibilities
Act as a representative for the Health & Safety Manager when necessary, taking on their responsibilities to ensure continuity in the management and oversight of health and safety procedures.
Perform root cause analysis on any health and safety incidents to prevent recurrence.
Prepare detailed reports on findings from inspections and audits for management review.
Participate in pre-start site surveys, project handover meetings, and ongoing project meetings as needed.
Prepare and write RAMS for onsite facilities and off site works
Complete H&S audits within the business
Identify training or requalification needs to ensure site staff maintain the necessary skills and knowledge, in accordance with the company guidelines.
Collaborate with various departments to maintain and continuously ISO 9001 - 14001 management systems.
Collaborate with various departments to implement health and safety policies effectively.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with environmental health regulations.
Ensure that all incidents, accidents, and near misses are properly logged and communicated in line with company protocols.
Perform regular and ad hoc H&S inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company procedures.
Identify and address any procedure breaches or hazards and promptly notify the site team.
Stay current with updates in legislation, regulations, industry requirements, and best practices.
Assist in investigating and reporting incidents to determine root causes, recommend corrective actions, and ensure implementation to prevent recurrence.
Support site management in the production, review and implementation of project management plans, construction phase plans and project H&S documentation.

Requirements
NEBOSH General Certificate or higher (Mandatory)
Minimum 3 years in HSE role, preferably in M&E/industrial/manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding in the use of ISO 9001 - 14001 Management systems.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry.
Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Work Location: Our offices are located in Aylesford, factories are in Aylesford & Sittingbourne, Kent. You will also require to undertake site visits for our onsite installation works.
