Duties and Responsibilities
General Overview
To cover Service Contracts. Mon to Saturday on a 4 Day Rota. Competitive Rate of Pay
Carry out Daily Defect Checks on vehicles to ensure road worthiness and report all defects in Vehicle Defect Book in your vehicle.
It is your responsibility to ensure your Hand Held Ticket Machines are charged and fully functional.
Ensure you duties start punctually at the specific times and ensure all services run to timetable.
Refuelling, Wash and clean the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
Operate passenger lifts, ramps and wheelchair access.
Driving of Hebridean Transport's vehicles in a manner that ensures the safety and comfort of passengers, care and consideration for other road users and vehicle sympathy.
Assist and support passengers during journeys in an active and inclusive manner.
Deal responsibly with any emergencies that may occur during journeys in accordance with Hebridean Transport's Policies and Procedures.
Liaise with other Drivers and your Supervisor to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all Hebridean Transport's passenger operations.
Communicate with passengers and service users in a patient informative manner and promote all services operated by Hebridean Transport in a positive fashion.
