Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various sites across the UK.
This position involves working on diverse projects, including installation and maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
This is mobile position, and will require the candidate to work across the UK, with minimal supervision and must be capable of making key decisions on site to allow quick and seamless installation with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in commercial and industrial settings including splits, VRF and heat recovery ventilation.
Interpret technical schematics and diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions
Lead maintenance activities, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise system downtime
Troubleshoot complex equipment problems, performing repairs or replacements as necessary
Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions using smart phone applications.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair
Must hold valid F-GAS (cat 1) and CSCS card
Must hold a Full UK driving licence
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings
Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to supervise junior staff or apprentices
Knowledge of equipment repair techniques specific to HVAC systems
Experience working on construction sites or in industrial environments is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in maintenance records and reports
