Responsibilities:
Researching and analysing market trends, providing insights and suggestions for frozen foods sector.
Developing new product, optimising quality for current products and developing instructions to improve production quality.
Establishing the production procedures and quality standards assessed by scientific and technical method to ensure quality.
Collaborating with Sales Team to resolve any after sales technical issues.
Familiar with production procedures & equipment, raw materials' and ingredients' features and assisting with supplier selection process to maintain product quality.
Collaborating with Marketing Team for new product including but not limited to technical specifications, ingredients, and sampling.
Working closely with Quality Manager to provide technical support for and quality correction and improvement.
Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in food science or a related field. Master's degree preferred
2+ years of experience in a food technician and developing role is a must. Experience in quality assurance within food sector preferred.
Strong knowledge of UK/EU food regulation and labelling
Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP and Due Diligence
A Self-starter and excellent communicator with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Reliable and detail oriented with great can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment
Language Requirements:
Mandarin Chinese (fluent - a must)
English (fluent - a must)
Any other languages will be a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
