As an SEN Learning Mentor, you will work closely with students, teachers, and families to provide personalised support and guidance. Your role will be instrumental in helping students overcome barriers to learning, fostering their social and emotional development, and celebrating their achievements. Key responsibilities:

• Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement individualised learning plans
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Communicating regularly with parents and carers to ensure a consistent approach
• Participating in relevant training and professional development opportunities

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to supporting students
• Knowledge of diverse learning needs and strategies to support them
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
