Our client, a well-established and inclusive educational institution, is seeking a committed and empathetic individual to support students with diverse learning needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that enables each student to reach their full potential.

  • Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to help students develop their academic, social, and emotional skills
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to the class teacher and parents
  • Encourage student independence and promote a positive learning atmosphere
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, therapists, and other support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
  • Knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and dyslexia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Proficiency in using technology to support learning
  • A patient, caring, and resilient personality

Our client offers a competitive salary of £90 - £105 per day, along with opportunities for professional development and growth within a supportive and inclusive work environment.
