We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching & Learning Assistants to join a specialist SEND school in the Matlock & Wirksworth area. This is an exciting opportunity to work 1:1 with children and young people aged 4-19, supporting those with Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
The school supports students with High-Functioning Autism, ADHD, Global Development Delay, visual and hearing impairments, and has a team of Speech & Language specialists and Occupational Therapists. You'll be part of a child's journey towards independence, working alongside skilled professionals to create a nurturing, engaging, and fun learning environment. This is an incredibly rewarding role where you can truly see the impact of your support on a child's growth and development.
Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:00
£96 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong, trusting relationships with children in your care
Support children to develop independence and life skills
Provide emotional and practical support within the classroom
Collaborate with other education and SEND professionals
Assist in implementing individual development plans for each child
