Senior Video Editor & Motion Designer Salary: £45,000-£60,000 (DOE) Location: London - Hybrid (Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office) Team: Marketing Reports to: Chief Growth Officer Our Mission: Fixing Trust in Commerce For a decade, we've been on a mission to close the Trust Gap-commerce's most expensive problem. In a world where distance and digital interfaces separate buyers and sellers, we're building the definitive trust infrastructure that enables global trade to flourish. We recognize that trust is not binary but a spectrum, and our work continually expands the boundaries of commerce itself. Each improvement we make enables transactions that previously wouldn't have happened, revealing new frontiers where trust can be further enhanced. Our Impact Today We've grown from an idea into the dominant force for trust in e-commerce: Shopify's Review Solution: We power over $70B of Shopify GMV with reviews. Global Scale: More than 600,000 shops across 140+ countries use our platform. Massive Reach: We process over 70 million orders monthly, generating 3 million+ verified buyer reviews each month. Organic Growth: We've achieved 40% year-over-year growth purely through word of mouth-no paid marketing or sales teams needed. The Opportunity We're hiring a Senior Video Editor & Motion Designer to own the visual quality of our YouTube and product videos (Academy content and launches). This is an individual contributor role for someone with strong editorial judgement and visual taste-not a coordination or management position. You'll edit educational and marketing videos, shaping structure, pacing, and rhythm, and creating motion graphics, interface visuals, and subtitles. You'll work closely with our YouTube strategist on repeatable formats and with product marketing to explain complex ideas clearly and consistently. You'll also create supporting visual assets in Figma, working from existing brand guidelines. This role is for someone with excellent taste and a strong sense of storytelling. How We Work We work with clear direction, fast feedback, and high standards. Formats, goals, and priorities are defined upfront, but we expect strong judgement in execution. You'll be trusted to make calls on pacing, motion, and visual treatment, and to improve output incrementally over time. We value: Tight feedback loops over long review cycles Iteration based on performance and clarity Consistency and reliability over one-off hero edits Raising the bar gradually while keeping output moving This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, momentum, and refining a visual system through repetition. What You'll Do Edit multiple YouTube videos per week, with a focus on structure, pacing, and engagement. Work with the YouTube strategist to turn formats into high-quality video output. Own visual quality across the channel, from raw footage through to final delivery. Edit academy and product launch videos with product marketing, focused on clarity, flow, and brand alignment. Maintain visual consistency across all video content. Create motion graphics, lower thirds, subtitles, and animation. Create in-video assets and occasional marketing graphics in Figma, working from existing brand guidelines. What We're Looking For Excellent taste in video editing, motion, and visual composition. A strong instinct for how brand shows up in video. Proven experience owning or significantly shaping video output for a channel, programme, or series. Comfortable balancing creative quality with output, iteration, and deadlines. Organised, reliable, and detail-focused. Proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects; comfortable with Figma, Photoshop, or Illustrator or similar tools for creating visual assets. Passionate about AI and LLMs, with a drive to explore how these tools can enhance video editing and motion design. What Good Looks Like A clear, repeatable production pipeline is in place for YouTube. Content ships on a predictable cadence, with ownership from brief to publish. YouTube formats become faster to produce and improve with each iteration. Academy and launch videos are consistently clear, polished, and on time. In-video assets are produced quickly and reinforce the visual language. Experience 4+ years in video editing, motion design, or creative production, or equivalent portfolio. Portfolio required, showing video editing, motion graphics, and visual asset creation. Why This Role Matters This hire is critical to scaling our content while building a recognisable, consistent video presence. The right person raises quality through judgement and craft.

Throughout the year, works by leading artists and writers, including David Buckland, Anthony Gormley, Dame Rachel Whiteread and Ian McEwan were displayed across the school, complemented by a rich programme of talks and workshops. Pupils from FHS and neighbouring schools engaged deeply with the artworks and activities, producing their own creative responses that culminated in a joint exhibition of professional and student work. FHS is now planning the next Creative Perspectives programme, to be delivered in the academic year. We teach art to all girls in year 7, 8 and 9, and the GCSE Fine Art course (OCR) is often very popular, with thriving numbers. We offer A-level Fine Art (AQA), and this is also a very popular option, with many of our A-level students continuing their creative journey at foundation level courses in this country and abroad. We have a lively and enthusiastic range of clubs and clinics on offer each week, as well as a thriving Art Scholars club. Positive working relationships are fostered with our students, and respect for others is encouraged at all times in the classroom. Independent learning is also encouraged through homework and research, as well as creative projects and initiatives such as participation in art competitions. Self-confidence is nurtured through the expectation of participation in class discussions. Personal, moral and spiritual development is supported through the study and exploration of chosen artists, visits to galleries and museums and the questions and discussions that arise from this. At all levels, the Art Department offers a stimulating and challenging curriculum which provides plenty of opportunities for enrichment, including gallery trips, residential art trips and visiting artists and designers. There are three dedicated art rooms, and the department is supported by an enthusiastic Art Technician. For more information and to apply, please visit our vacancies page via the Apply button. Closing date: 8.00 am on Monday, 2nd February 2026. First interviews: w/c Monday 2nd February 2026 (online). Second interviews: w/c Monday 9th February 2026 (in person). The school reserves the right to appoint at any stage. Early applications are encouraged.
