Job Title: Transport Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Transport Manager to oversee our transport operations. You will be responsible for managing drivers, vehicles, and compliance to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and safe delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day transport operations and driver schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including driver hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Monitor fleet performance and implement cost-saving measures.
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate records and produce operational reports.
- Lead and motivate the transport team to achieve KPIs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Transport Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in transport management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
