A leading facilities management provider is looking for an experienced AC & Refrigeration Engineer to join their mobile engineering team based around the Sunderland area. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with great hours and excellent earning potential.
The Role
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on AC and refrigeration systems
- Fault find, repair and install equipment including compressors, chillers and controls
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections and corrective work
- Support general building services tasks (HVAC, mechanical, fabric)
- Work to strict Health & Safety procedures and site standards
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience in AC/refrigeration or HVAC maintenance
- Strong background in PPM, reactive and technical fault finding
- Experience working on commercial sites
- Competent following RAMS and H&S procedures
Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2079 (F-Gas) or CITB J11 equivalent
- Plus one of the following:
- NVQ/C&G level 2/3 in Commercial Refrigeration & AC
- NVQ/C&G in Heating & Ventilation
- NVQ/C&G in Heating & Ventilation Service & Maintenance
