Job Description

About The Role:

A leading multidisciplinary creative studio is seeking an accomplished Head of Events to oversee the planning, delivery and strategic direction of a diverse portfolio of high-profile, international events. Working closely with Company Directors and senior creative leadership, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering bespoke, large-scale experiences for luxury, fashion and premium retail brands, as well as private clients.

This is a senior leadership position for an established event professional with a strong background in complex, high-end event production. You will take full ownership of the event lifecycle, from early-stage concept development and senior client engagement through to delivery and post-event evaluation, while continuing to elevate the studio's reputation for excellence on a global stage.

The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery. You will lead an in-house team of event organisers and assistants, manage significant project budgets (often in excess of £5m), and act as a trusted senior partner to clients and internal stakeholders alike. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, detail-driven environments and is comfortable operating at board level.

Our client offers a competitive benefits package, generous holiday allowance as well as studio closure over the festive period, and the opportunity to work on culturally significant, international projects within a growing, supportive and forward-thinking creative studio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior leadership to the events function, managing and developing an in-house team of event organisers and assistants
  • Set the strategic direction for events, ensuring alignment with the studio's creative vision and commercial objectives
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-budget events, ensuring exceptional standards across every detail
  • Act as a senior client lead, translating briefs into refined, high-touch event experiences in collaboration with Company Directors
  • Manage international event planning and production across venues, suppliers, technical production, entertainment and logistics
  • Take sole responsibility for large-scale project budgets, controlling costs, timelines and resources to ensure successful delivery
  • Lead supplier and partner relationships, negotiating contracts and managing performance
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, innovation and emerging technologies, integrating these into event concepts where appropriate
  • Report directly to Company Directors, providing clear oversight of project progress, resourcing and financial performance

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role within event production
  • Background as a senior event producer delivering luxury events within the fashion, luxury or premium retail sectors
  • Proven experience managing complex international events and overseeing budgets of £5m+
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing in-house events teams
  • Strong client-facing presence with the confidence to operate at senior and board level
  • Excellent commercial acumen with deep experience managing large-scale budgets and negotiations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a calm, assured approach in high-pressure environments
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset
