The Opportunity Our client is actively seeking an experienced AV Technician to join their busy team. In addition to experience in the AV events industry you should have a flexible can do attitude to help deliver exceptional client service. This role is 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, with additional overtime. You will be required to work to strict deadlines. Overtime outside what is considered normal working hours is expected, as is travel mainly in Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Delivery and installation of AV rental equipment, reporting damaged missing equipment on collection or delivery and assisting with the preparation of equipment for hire when required. Safely delivering and collecting of rental equipment, ensuring clear sign off from client on delivery/installation and collection.Installing/de-rigging rental equipment to the highest level as per company procedures.Reporting any damaged or missing equipment to the line manager.Completing daily vehicle checklistProviding technical support to clients.Pulling and preparing equipment for jobs.Maintaining hire equipment to rental standards.Assisting with the loading/unloading of vans or trucksMaintaining health and safety standards Based in Belfast, basic Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience plus overtime. A company vehicle will be provided as required for business use only. Travel will be expected throughout Ireland.Permanent or Contract work available. Your Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities: Experience as an AV tech in the events industry is essential for this role.A dynamic individual who will work over and above the job description all in the name of enabling our client to deliver great events for their customers.Ability and willingness to travel as required.An outstanding team player working well with others.Good communication skills are required able to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels, both written and verbally.A flexible, adaptable approach in terms of working hours.
