Our client is an established, multi-disciplinary design practice with a strong UK presence is looking to strengthen its building services team with the appointment of aSenior Mechanical Designerin its Manchester office. Location:Manchester (City Centre) Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 (depending on the experience) Employment type:Permanent The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical building services professional to take a lead design role on a variety of projects, contribute to technical excellence, and mentor junior staff. You will work on a range of medium to large-scale developments from concept through to construction, including both new-build and refurbishment projects. The role involves full ownership of mechanical design packages, stakeholder coordination, and input into the firms sustainability and net zero ambitions. Our client, a Chartered Building Surveyors firm, are seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join their growing team in West George Street, Glasgow. This is an exciting role for a Senior Architectural Technician to join an expanding team and have a clear path for progression & professional development. Our client are ideally looking for someone who can lead and manage a small technical team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years' experience working as an Architectural Technician or at a Senior level and ideally possess a working knowledge of Scottish building warrants & planning processes. Our client use both Revit and AutoCAD so the Senior Architectural Technician should have experience with at least one of the two. Revit or AutoCAD training can be provided for those who don't use the software currently. Our client work on a variety of projects particularly within the Retail, Commercial and Residential sectors. These projects range from £100,000 to £10,000,000 in value. This role will be across all RIBA Stages, with a particular focus on the Technical Design of a project.
