The projects the team work on range from small scale developments to larger scale and major infrastructure and construction sites, with a view to protecting existing residents in the vicinity of new developments, future residents of proposed schemes, and sensitive ecological species which may be affected by air pollution. We undertake modelling and assessment of traffic pollution resulting from new developments, as well as determining the potential effects of industrial emissions and odour from a variety of sources. Whilst the main focus of this role is working on producing air quality assessments, there will also be an element of completing environmental surveys, sometimes involving overnight stays and the occasional weekend. We are looking to recruit up to Principal level, dependent on the level of experience.
