Lead Chiller Engineer / Chiller Engineer Andover

Basic Salary: Up to £55,000 + Vehicle + Overtime + Benefits

A leading temperature-control hire company based near Andover is expanding and now looking to hire both a Lead Chiller Engineer and an experienced Chiller Engineer to support a busy fleet of hire chillers and HVAC equipment.

The Role

As part of the engineering team, youll be responsible for service, maintenance, repair, fault-finding and commissioning across a range of hire chillers and associated HVAC systems. The Lead Chiller Engineer will additionally support junior engineers and act as the technical point of contact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, repair and maintain hire fleet chillers

  • Diagnose mechanical & electrical faults on various manufacturers

  • Commission chillers and HVAC equipment

  • Support planned and reactive works across customer sites

  • (Lead role) Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure F-Gas compliance

Requirements
  • Strong background as a Chiller Engineer or Lead Chiller Engineer

  • Experience with process chillers, low-temperature systems or hire equipment

  • F-Gas 2079 qualification

  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Full UK driving licence

Package
  • Basic salary up to £55,000 (depending on role and experience)
