The role of the Contracts Manager Commercial Flooring will involve:
Contracts Manager position overseeing various commercial flooring projects such as vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile
Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks
Organising the delivery of all materials that will be needed on site and ensuring they arrive on time
Ensure projects are running smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining project cost plans
Liaising with clients and providing project reports
Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetingswith clients
Managing projects ranging in value from £250,000 to circa £2,000,000
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager Commercial Flooring with:
Must be a Contracts Manager within the construction industry working for a subcontractor or main contractor
Ideally will have sound technical knowledge of the flooring market sector vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile
Dealt with project sizes £250,000+
Ability to gain DBS / EL1 security checks
Must have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
Professionalandhighly organised
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
