Wanted: A Legendary History Teacher! (KS3/KS4) - Hockley

Location: Hockley
Start Date: As soon as you can saddle your horse and arrive
Role: History Teacher (KS3/KS4)
Contract: Full-time (no time travel required though encouraged)
About the Role
We're on a quest for a vibrant, engaging History teacher who can bring the past to life for students in Years 7-11. Your mission will include:
Guiding KS3 adventurers through ancient civilisations, questionable monarchs, and wars with too many dates
Preparing KS4 scholars for GCSE success (without sending them into a revision-induced civil war)
Turning classrooms into time machines powered by curiosity and caffeine
Inspiring students to say things like 'History is actually my favourite subject now!'
What We're Looking For
A passion for storytelling, from the Stone Age to the Cold War
Ability to manage lively classes with the diplomacy of a seasoned world leader
Creativity, energy, and a sense of humour (especially helpful during lessons on the Black Death)
A desire to make History feel exciting, relevant, and epic!
