Repairs Officer Salary: £44,109 £46,444 Location: Norfolk (Field-based) Hours: 37 hours per week MondayFriday Contract Type: Permanent A leading social housing provider is seeking an experienced Repairs Officer to join their growing Maintenance team. This is a key role in ensuring high-quality, customer-focused repairs and maintenance services across their housing stock. As an integral part of the repairs and maintenance function, you will oversee day-to-day management of contracted repairs, drive service improvements, and ensure homes are safe, well maintained and delivered to a consistently high standard. The Role Manage the daily performance of external repairs contractors, ensuring high-quality, timely and cost-effective delivery. Undertake surveys on properties, specify works, raise orders and monitor progress through to completion. Provide strong budget oversight, using data and insight to drive value for money and continuous improvement. Carry out pre and post-inspections, health & safety audits and quality checks to ensure compliance and high standards across all works. Support the delivery of an efficient repairs service, contributing to strategic planning and operational improvements.
