Monitor ongoing production activity to ensure that all safety guards, interlocks and relevant fixtures are in place and are functioning correctly. Provide Specialist knowledge and its practical application and due to experience by way of engineering support for Project and Production Engineering teams during new and existing project design phases and during equipment build, testing and commissioning. If an equipment issue arises in any area that represents a health and safety or product or personnel safety risk, Maintenance Engineers are responsible for identifying this appropriately and must advise the team/shift leader in order to preserve the safety of products and staff.
