Transport Improvements Project Manager Industry: Local Authority Location: Isle of Wight Hours: 37 hours per week Days: Monday - Friday Duration: March 2026 for approx. 24 weeks Duties: Develop a programme of bus infrastructure improvements, in line with funding specifications, current strategic plans and policy, design and health and safety standards, including; bus shelters, hard standings, accessibility improvements, real-time information systems, lighting and CCTV. Starting Salary: 25,536 (Subject to review) Location : Gailey Depot, Watling Street, Gailey, Staffordshire, ST19 5PR Working hours per week: Mon-Friday 7:30 -16:00. 40hr/week Start date : September 2026 Apprenticeship Link : Highways maintenance skilled operativ e / Skills England As part of your apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto the Highways Maintenance Skilled Operative Level 2 programme, which will take approximately 21 months to complete. You will be fully supported by our partnered college through 1-2-1 support, e-learning materials, and access to technical experts in the workplace. What you will bring: If you do not hold GCSE/Functional Skills qualifications, you must achieve a minimum of Entry Level 3 in Maths and English during initial assessment. Full UK Driving license.
