Nursery Room Leader - Preschool We are seeking a new Room Leader for our Pre - school room. We are looking for individuals either with previous experience leading a room, or who are looking to take that step up and can promote high quality care in a stimulating, happy and rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for our pre-schoolers. We are a welcoming little setting and invest heavily in staff. Room leader duties involve; Assisting the Nursery Management in providing day to day high quality childcare. Being responsible for and managing the staff within the room. Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, experiences, independence and meets all the children needs. Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning. Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children. Leading a small team. The ideal candidate will; Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe. Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five. Have previous room lead experience or deputy room lead/ senior practitioner experience (highly desirable) Be qualified at Level 3 or equivalent in childcare. Have a good understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages) Be able to work well in a team Have good leadership skills.
