Generator Electrical Engineer

Skilled Generator Engineer required to service, maintain, fault-find and repair diesel generators and associated electrical systems. Role includes planned maintenance, emergency call-outs, installations, and commissioning.

• Service and maintain diesel generators and control panels.

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.

• Install and commission generator sets, cabling, and switchgear.

• Carry out testing, inspection, and certification.

• Respond to breakdowns and provide effective solutions.

• Complete accurate job reports and maintain safety compliance.

• AM2 (or equivalent) completed.

• ECS Gold Card (or eligible).

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.

• Strong electrical knowledge incl. BS 7671 (18th Edition).

• Experience with commercial/industrial electrical systems.

• Full UK driving licence.
