The Role As a key member of the machining department, you will: Meet exacting customer requirements and deliver high-quality, precision-machined components. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Create, load, edit and save CNC programs using Heidenhain controls . Set tooling, establish work piece datums and plan machining methods for efficient production. Monitor tool condition, make adjustments where needed and maintain exceptional housekeeping standards. Self-inspect your own work and ensure safe working practices at all times. Skills & Experience Required Time-Served Machinist with minimum 4 years' experience . Strong understanding of machining techniques and CNC milling. Competent in programming on-machine and offline. Heidenhain programming experience - essential. CAM programming experience essential; Powermill highly desirable. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and self-inspect critical features. Experience producing complex parts to tight tolerances.
