This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Solution Architect in United Kingdom.
In this role, you will serve as a key technical leader, partnering closely with customers, delivery teams and product groups to design impactful, scalable solutions that address complex industrial challenges. You will operate in a fast-moving, international environment, contributing both strategically and hands on while guiding customers in their digital and data driven transformation. Working alongside multidisciplinary experts, you will influence architecture decisions, shape integration strategies, and ensure successful deployments across the full project lifecycle. This position offers high visibility, strong customer interaction and the opportunity to drive real business outcomes in major industrial sectors.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the end-to-end architecture and solution design for large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Provide strategic and technical expertise to customers and customer-facing teams.
- Define enterprise and solution architectures, including integrations, data models, ingestion pipelines, and user-facing components.
- Communicate complex technical concepts through architecture modeling tools.
- Ensure operational readiness and support agreements for delivered solutions.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level leaders and IT/Data teams, to drive long-term solution adoption.
- Train internal teams and partners on solution best practices within your area of expertise.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to translate customer needs into product enhancements.
- Manage integration, data modeling, and related tasks using data connectors, SQL, Python/Java, REST APIs, and major cloud platforms.
- Maintain deep technical and business expertise related to digital industrial solutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Solution Architect, or 7+ years as a Software Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer.
- Background in industries such as Manufacturing, Energy, Oil and Gas, Pharma, or Life Sciences is preferred.
- Strong hands on experience with Python and solid understanding of software development best practices.
- Ability to contribute code for complex topics when needed.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to take ownership, work independently, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and guiding teams is a plus.
