You will be supporting our Technical Directors and Design Managers to deliver a wide variety of rail infrastructure projects, including Access for All footbridges, station enhancements, platform lengthening, multi story carparks, and a variety of Network Rail civil and structural framework projects. About the role This is a key role to enhance the technical capabilities of the team as our growth journey continues, and the size and complexity of our projects continue to increase. Implementing best practices and shaping the team to be technically excellent and truly value adding. You will be responsible for providing clients with high-quality, technically excellent design packages. What will you have? Strong technical design skills in civil and/or structural engineering. Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems. Experience in preparing and checking design packages on Network Rail projects. Experience of (or interest in working towards) acting as Contractor's Responsible Engineer. Understanding of the requirements of interfacing disciplines. Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or currently working towards) with the Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers. Experience in mentoring and developing technicians Knowledge of Network Rail standards and processes. Hands on experience with relevant software packages, including Tekla and Revit. Why work for us?
