Fabricator/Welder

Im working with a rapidly expanding client who is looking for an experiencedFabricator/Welderto join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work across two sites in Ripon and Harrogate, contributing to high-quality, on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce work to a high standard with strong attention to detail
• Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately
• Interpret and work from design plans and technical drawings
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment
• Assemble and disassemble components as required
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
• Manage materials and resources safely and responsibly

Requirements

• Proven experience in metal fabrication
• Good awareness of Health & Safety practices
• Full UK driving licence (essential, due to travel between Ripon and Harrogate sites)
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, depending on project needs
• Self-employed status preferred but not essential
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks, including lifting materials and working in different conditions
