HR Business Partner (FTC)

Frazer Jones are supporting a mid tier professional services business, based in central London, to secure an HR BP to cover a period of maternity leave.

This 12-month FTC (starting in January) would suit an established HR professional with solid experience from another fast paced, matrix structured, commercial environment (ideally professional services).

Reporting to the Head of HR and working with an HR Assistant, the HR BP is responsible for managing and maintaining all HR processes and procedures in relation to the employee lifecycle.

With a client base of 400 employees and an HR team of 7, you will be involved at every step of the HR process requiring an operational and strategic approach to your work. While this role will not directly manage a team, the HR BP will support the Head of HR in the day-to-day oversight of the HR Assistant, ensuring the HR team is positively engaged, functions well and delivers high-quality services to the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Head of HR with employee relations issues, such as but not limited to: Manage the administration around employee relation matters. Lead and/or support disciplinary and grievances meetings.
  • Engage with external (legal) counsel as necessary.
  • Providing advice and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures and documentation.
  • Manage the periodic review of the HR Policies and Procedures, including the Employee Handbook, to ensure these documents remain compliant with legal/regulatory changes and best practice.
  • Support the Head of HR in the drafting, revision and implementation of any new HR policies and procedures in line with business needs and in accordance with legal and best practice requirements.
  • Oversee the new joiner onboarding process to deliver a high-quality onboarding experience to new joiners and managers
  • Oversee the effective coordination of the onboarding process with other parts of the business.
  • Ensure personnel files and HR systems (manual and electronic) are kept up-to-date and in line with internal policy as well as external regulatory requirements, including GDPR.
  • Produce and oversee management information and KPI requirements for the Chief People Officer.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports (i.e. Human Capital Management report, KPIs for the monthly HR report to Executive Directors, Staff Engagement survey results etc ).
  • Support the Chief People Officer on the annual salary review process, bonus and pay benchmarking work.
  • Provide general support to the Chief People Officer.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
  • Hybrid working pattern - 4 days in, 1 from home.
