The company is a market leader in its field with a strong history in Blackpool, it prides itself in staff retention and this position has become available due to internal promotions and thus leaving a gap for a skilled, experienced production manager to fill.

Responsibilities will include:

• Management of three production facilities, ensuring seamless coordination, resource allocation and operational efficiency across all sites.
• Production planning, scheduling and execution to meet targets for output, quality and delivery timelines.
• Developing direct reports and indirect production staff. Taking care of recruitment, training, performance management and fostering a positive work culture.
• Implement and monitor health & safety and environmental standards to maintain compliance with regulations and promote a safe workplace.
• Optimise manufacturing processes through continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing or 5S methodologies.
• Monitor and control budgets, inventory and supply chain activities to minimise costs and waste while maximising productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and introduce new products.
• Analyse production data and KPIs to identify trends, implement corrective actions and report on performance to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and customer-specific requirements in a multi-discipline manufacturing setting.
• Drive innovation in production techniques to support scalability and adaptability in diverse manufacturing disciplines, such as assembly, fabrication and component manufacture.
