The Role
As the dedicated PLC Programmer, you will play a key part in automation and new product integration:
- Program PLCs inladder logicto control waterjet cutting machinery
- Create, optimise and maintain cutting programs for new and existing products
- Support new product introduction into full-scale production
- Improve machine utilisation, cycle times and reliability
- Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and operations
- Troubleshoot control issues and continuously enhance system performance
You will not be desk-locked expect hands-on interaction with equipment and real engineering impact on the shop floor.
You Will Bring
Were open on sector background, but your PLC skills must be strong and proven.
- Advanced PLC programming capability
- Exposure to manufacturing automation, robotics or industrial controls
- Ability to diagnose, fault-find and improve control systems
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach
- Good grounding in manufacturing processes (any industry considered)
Waterjet experience isnt required full process familiarisation will be provided.
