What will you be doing? Within the Commercial Lines Pricing team, you will manage the team supporting Energy, Marine & Construction lines of business with an opportunity to work across multiple other Specialties lines of business including but not limited to D&O, Professional Indemnity, Financial Institutions and Cyber. This role focuses on our Corporate business meaning that you get to work on some of the largest and most complex insurance programmes in the market. You will primarily be responsible for assisting Specialties underwriting teams in bespoke pricing and performance analysis. Other responsibilities will also include: Support the delivery of pricing and portfolio management solutions, across multiple portfolios, through advanced analytics, data analysis and modelling. Collaborate closely with local underwriting functions and Group actuarial and underwriting teams to scope, build, develop, document, and maintain pricing tools. Pricing of large individual accounts, often across multiple lines of business, whilst tailoring your approach and pricing techniques to the unique specifics of these highly complex risks. Provide regular training and support to the actuarial and underwriting communities with a specific focus on best practice. Collaborate with subject matter experts across claims, reserving, underwriting and finance to develop Country Underwriting Plan, demonstrating increasing knowledge of relevant disciplines and procedures, informing portfolio insights and profitability, and providing first class service and analysis to local management and stakeholders. Manage a team, supporting junior analysts with their personal development and coaching them in their technical and non technical skills. Ownership of all EMC topics within Pricing team, including but not limited to monitoring of technical price assumptions and market pricing decisions. Regular monitoring and reporting of key trends and performance to senior stakeholders in the UK and to Group. Description The Role WTW is seeking a dynamic and experienced insurance professional to join our Cargo team in London as an Associate Director. This is a high-impact role handling a diverse portfolio of direct, wholesale, and reinsurance cargo business-primarily from North America. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional client service, shaping strategy, and driving growth in a global marketplace, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing As a senior member of our Cargo team, you'll lead the servicing and broking of complex cargo accounts, while helping to expand our client base and deepen market relationships. The Responsibilities Manage and grow relationships with large, complex cargo clients Understand client businesses, risks, and opportunities to deliver tailored insurance solutions Prepare bespoke MRC policy documentation with precision and clarity Design and execute effective placing strategies across London and international markets Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters globally Broker client risks into appropriate markets with confidence and expertise Support new business generation and contribute to sales strategy Ensure compliance with WTW and FCA guidelines Mentor and support the development of junior colleagues Collaborate effectively across WTW teams and systems Champion exceptional client service, driving upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
