CBW are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Leader to join a prestigious commercial contract within a modern, high-spec, multi-tenant building in the City. Youll be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of building services performance (both planned and reactive) within a busy, client-facing environment, maintaining a strong focus on technical excellence, compliance, and customer service. The role involves leading and supervising a small team of two engineers while overseeing the maintenance and operation of a well-known commercial site. Hours of Work Continental Shift Pattern 07 00 Days & Nights Key Duties & Responsibilities Supervise, coordinate, and manage the site engineering team, ensuring all PPM and reactive maintenance is completed within agreed timescales. Provide technical support and leadership for site technicians, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met. Operate all building systems in a competent, effective, and efficient manner (including HV operations). Review and sign off Specialist Service Provider (SSP) works, ensuring quality and compliance with contractual requirements. Maintain clear and detailed shift handovers, including plant status, isolations, incidents, and ongoing works. Ensure accurate completion of all logbooks, incident reports, and PPM records. Promote and maintain high standards of housekeeping across plant rooms and technical areas. Support the preparation of Safety Switching Programmes, EOPs, and MOPs where required. Manage permit-to-work (PTW) processes and site safety procedures. Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency across all engineering services. Requirements C&G Electrical Level 3 (or equivalent/exceeds). C&G Mechanical Level 3 (desirable). 18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation. C&G 2391 Test & Inspection (desirable).
