ABOUT YOU To be part of our success story, you'll have: completed a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship as: Aircraft Maintenance Technician, Motor Mechanic, Sheet Metal worker, Carpentry, Coach Builder, Coppersmith, Aircraft Technician, Mechanical & Maintenance Fitter, Panel Beater, Sheet Metal, Pattern Maker, Toolfitter, Car Body Operator, Boiler Maker, Machinist, Pipe Fitter, Diesel Fitter, Plumber, Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Welder, Fabricator or in a similar skilled trade Or four years' experience in a skilled role, plus a relevant qualification, ie City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 or NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical engineering discipline. After initial product training, your role will involve checking kit parts up to drawing schedules, manufacturing a range of aerospace hardware to a high standard and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
