Main purpose of post To be responsible for the effective and efficient inspection of accommodation provided by the Council to those in housing need in order to ensure compliance with safety requirements and monitor standards of repairs and maintenance. To carry out tenancy checks, noting changes in circumstance, nuisance, complaints, requests for transfer etc and liaise with colleagues in the Tenancy Sustainment, Housing Support and Lettings teams as appropriate in order to ensure that the tenant and landlord are given support to resolve any issues.
