Commercial Gas Engineer - London and Southern England
Up to £55,000 basic + on-call + overtime
Are you a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer looking for your next big opportunity? We're partnering with a leading provider of cutting edge, bespoke energy solutions who are expanding their team - and they want YOU to help support key sites across Southern England
This is a fantastic chance to join a forward thinking business where no two days are the same. You'll take the lead on servicing, repairing and commissioning a wide range of gas appliances, from light commercial to large industrial systems. You'll be the expert on the ground - solving problems, spotting opportunities, and ensuring customers receive a five star service every time.
What you'll be doing:- Servicing boilers, forced draught burners, water heaters, overhead radiant tubes & warm air heaters
- Diagnosing faults and repairing a wide variety of gas appliances
- Commissioning boilers, burners, water heaters and warm air units
- Testing and purging pipework systems to IGEM/UP/1A & IGEM/UP/1
- Participating in an on call rota
- Working closely with the helpdesk team to meet agreed SLAs
- Reading and following site specific RAMS
- Ensuring all work aligns with industry standards and guidelines
- Commercial Gas qualifications - COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, TPCP1 & 1A, ICPN1
- Strong fault finding skills and experience using electrical testing equipment
- A self starter with solid problem solving ability
- Completed industry standard apprenticeship
- Full clean driving licence
- Reliable, punctual and adaptable
- Comfortable working independently
- Confident using handheld electronic devices
A competitive basic salary up to £55,000, plus on call payments and overtime to boost your earnings even further. A full package can be discussed at application stage.
