Hygiene Technician / Grease Hygiene Technician Team Leader Our client is a specialist contractor in cleaning and ventilation services, currently seeking a dedicated candidate to join the Hygiene Technician division / Grease Hygiene division. There clients include leading national hotel groups, restaurant chains, and food-on-the-go brands, all committed to maintaining the highest hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities: Travel to various client sites across the UK to deliver hygiene services Clean ventilation systems including canopies, ductwork, and fan units in line with TR19 standards Install access panels where necessary to support compliance and maintenance Work safely in confined spaces and at height, adhering to site-specific protocols Communicate professionally with clients to ensure clarity and satisfaction Conduct thorough risk assessments prior to commencing work Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company procedures Candidate Requirements: Full UK driving licence Experience working at height and in confined spaces is advantageous Must hold a General Hygiene Technician (GHT) qualification with experience with TR19 ductwork cleaning Proven ability to lead and motivate a team Willingness to work flexible hours shifts typically begin late afternoon/early evening and may involve overnight stays Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and commitment to quality What We Offer: Competitive starting salary: £27,500 £30,000 (dependent on experience) Based in the Birmingham/Lichfield area Company Van Structured shift pattern: alternating 4-day and 5-day working weeks, with every other Friday off Semi-flexible evening/night shifts 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays Health Shield plan for wellbeing support
