Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nursing associate to join the NICU team. You will be responsible for competently providing safe and effective care with minimal supervision to babies on the NICU.

You will work, independently under the leadership of a registered nurse, operating within the sphere of nursing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating programs of care. You will communicate effectively, with sensitivity and compassion, and manage relationships with parents, families and staff making reasonable adjustments where necessary.

This vacancy is for Registered Nurses with full NMC registration. If you are an internationally trained nurse that has not passed their OSCE (objective structured clinical examination), you will not be considered for this role and will be automatically rejected, so please do not apply.

  • Current registration with NMC as a Nursing Associate
  • Teaching and assessing qualification
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and its application
Experience
  • Practical application of Trust documentation standards
