Structural Engineer - Defect Diagnosis & Structural Investigations I'm currently working with an established consultancy in Liverpool City Centre that is looking to appoint an experienced Structural Engineer with strong expertise in inspection and design. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied technical role, balancing site inspections, reporting, client interaction and mentoring. The position offers a flexible blend of office, remote and site work, with full-time preferred, however, a 4-day week can be considered for the right candidate. The Role You'll be carrying out structural inspections across a wide variety of properties, including residential, commercial, healthcare and education buildings. Your work will focus on diagnosing defects, advising on remedial solutions and preparing clear, professional reports. You will also support the wider team with client liaison, fee proposals, invoicing and offering guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
