Plumber

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various tools and materials. The successful applicant will contribute to ensuring that all plumbing systems operate efficiently and safely, providing essential services to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues with existing plumbing infrastructure and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation or repair projects.
• Assist in the assembly of plumbing components and systems for new constructions or renovations.
• Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools and materials to various sites.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing, with additional skills in welding, carpentry, or mechanical knowledge considered advantageous.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques related to plumbing tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations and repairs.
• Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good physical condition with the ability to work in confined spaces or on elevated surfaces when necessary.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in plumbing or related trades are desirable but not essential.
