You'll ideally have: A degree in Electrical, Power, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline). Prior experience in overhead line design up to 400kV. Experience with OHL upgrade projects (e.g. utilisation of High Temperature Low Sag conductors). Knowledge of galloping studies, EMF and Field Effects calculations, wake effects, and AC interference (desirable). Proficiency with design software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-TOWER (advantageous). The flexibility to travel for site visits and project delivery.
