Were looking for a confident, commercially minded individual with excellent communication skills and passion for technology.

As part of our Pre Sales team, youll be the go to technical expert in our sales process. Youll work hand in hand with our sales team to understand customer challenges and present relevant technical solutions that will make a real impact to our customers ongoing success.

Youll bring solid knowledge of WAN, security, unified communications and modern workspace technologies understanding how they come together to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Youll use your technical expertise to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring stakeholders fully grasp the value of your proposals.

This role will give you the opportunity to play an integral part of the success of new business acquisition and existing customer growth.

You will also be required to travel regularly to attend customer meetings and support client engagements.

What youll be doing:
  • Leading technical discovery and design workshops with our customers
  • Providing sound advice and guidance to both our sales team and customers
  • Working closely with our sales team, youll identify, scope and present effective technical proposals
  • Translating technical solutions into business outcome focused proposals and presentations
  • Bridging the customers business challenges and technology enabled outcomes
What we need from you:
  • Proven experience in a presales role, ideally within a managed services provider environment
  • Track record of success in technical sales, delivering solutions that meet complex business needs
  • Deep understanding of networking technologies, including Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet
  • Strong commercial awareness combined with exceptional communication skills, enabling you to influence and engage stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to design and deliver robust WAN solutions, including connectivity strategies
  • Comprehensive hands-on experience of modern networking technologies, including SD-WAN, MPLS, LAN, WLAN, and SSE
  • Working knowledge of unified communications and contact centre platforms, with experience in 88, Zoom and Microsoft Teams preferred
  • An understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST and Cyber Essentials preferred
  • Certifications in Cisco CCNA/CCNP and Fortinet NSE preferred
