Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week

This is a specialist all-through school in Rugby supporting pupils with a wide range of complex needs across both Primary and Secondary phases. Your new role

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD).
• Support pupils across Primary and Secondary classrooms, adapting to different age groups and learning levels.
• Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans linked to EHCP targets.
• Encourage communication, social interaction, and independence.
• Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care, or youth work backgrounds considered).
• Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work across both Primary and Secondary age groups.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
