Engagement: Ongoing freelance 3 days per week minimum Day-rate Flexible scheduling (24 weeks ahead)
Overview
SERT is expanding capacity in Q1 and we are seeking experienced electricians to deliver short upskill courses, bootcamps, and specialist renewables training. If you have strong technical knowledge in Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV Charger installation, we want to hear from you.
Teaching qualifications are not required we will support and upskill you. Your industry expertise is what matters. This is ideal for professionals looking to diversify income, step into training, and shape the next generation of renewable engineers.
What Youll Deliver
Solar PV Installation & Commissioning
Battery Storage / EESS (Design, Install, Safety, Commissioning)
EV Charger Installation & Fault-Finding
Short upskills, practical workshops, and funded bootcamps
Technical mentoring, assessment support, and learner guidance
What Were Looking For
Qualified electrician (18th Edition as minimum)
Strong hands-on experience in Solar PV, EESS, and/or EV installations
Confident communicator; ability to coach and pass on trade knowledge
Reliability and flexibility Q1 demand is high and growing
Willingness to deliver in-centre training 3 days per week (Nursling or Whiteley)
