The Role:As a Client Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. Youll be the main point of contact for your clients, providing a proactive and professional service while ensuring all compliance and advisory needs are met.
Your key duties as Client Manager will include:
Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery of accounts and tax work
Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, and corporate/personal tax returns
Overseeing and supporting a small team of accountants and trainees
Liaising directly with clients to provide advice and build strong working relationships
Ensuring technical quality and compliance with accounting and tax standards
Supporting partners with practice development and business growth initiatives
ACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
Experience working in a firm of accountants is essential, ideally as a Client Accountant or Client Manager
Strong technical skills in accounts preparation and tax compliance
Confident in managing client relationships and delivering excellent service
Comfortable supervising and mentoring junior team members
Ideally knowledge of Xero
