G MASS Consulting is supporting a Leading Corporate Services provider as they seek an experienced Business Process Improvement Consultant to assist the transformation of corporate compliance processes across its European SPV structure.
This role sits within the Business Transformation Team, working alongside the legal and compliance functions to document, assess, and redesign how corporate compliance activities are executed, governed, and supported by technology.
Focus
- Business process re-engineering and documentation of existing compliance workflows
- Designing efficient, standardised future state processes that are regulatory-compliant, scalable, and cost-effective
- Working with technology teams to support the digitisation of compliance processes through Appian (or comparable workflow technologies such as PEGA)
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret existing as-is process documentation for compliance across Luxembourg and other EU jurisdictions
- Define future state processes that are efficient, standardised, and compliant, identifying opportunities to streamline and standardise legal and regulatory workflows (e.g. applying system thinking to identify inefficiencies)
- Develop business cases and feasibility assessments, including ROI "return on investment" for the initiative (saving opportunity vs development cost)
- Partner with legal & compliance, finance, and technology teams to translate legal/regulatory requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user acceptance testing. Collaborate with tech teams on Appian implementation and future enhancements
Qualifications
- Proven track record in business process improvement / re-engineering within corporate compliance, legal operations, or entity management
- Experience of Luxembourg SPV compliance and European regulatory frameworks (France, Germany, Benelux)
- Familiarity with real estate investment structures and how they interact with legal entities and governance
- Experience working with Appian (preferred) or similar workflow tools (e.g. PEGA)
- Excellent stakeholder management, able to bridge legal, business, and technology
- Comfortable defining business requirements and collaborating with tech teams to deliver
Initial 12-month FTC, with the potential to be made permanent.
Salary: up to £100k
