Monday - Friday, All year round

Salary: £10 - £12.21 per hour

We are currently seeking a Nursery Lunch Cover to join our team. This full-time role requires working 20 hours per week over the lunch period. Please note, this is a year-round position, as the nursery operates throughout the year and is not term-time only.

As an Lunch Cover, you will:

• Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times.
• Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff: child ratios.
• Ensure children are supervised and attended to at all times, maintaining appropriate staff: child ratios.
• Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.

Essential Criteria - Qualifications/Experience:

• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification - Desirable
• Over 1 years' experience working in Early Years - Desirable
• Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
• Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Desirable
• Fluent in written and spoken to English - Essential
