BI Analyst - West Midlands

This role is based in our Head Office in Monkspath, near Solihull, in the West Midlands. It is essential you live within a reasonable commute to our offices.

We're looking for a talented BI Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you'll design and deliver high-quality dashboards and reports that shape strategic decisions across the organisation. You'll work closely with teams at every level, transforming large and complex datasets into meaningful, actionable insights.

• Creating dynamic, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that support key business functions

• Using SQL to extract and transform large datasets in Snowflake, ensuring data is optimised and accurate

• Improving data models and driving automation to enhance reporting efficiency and scalability

• Developing KPIs and performance metrics across finance, operations, sales, and other business units

• Conducting deep-dive analysis, spotting trends, and presenting clear insights to senior stakeholders

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored data solutions

• Ensuring data integrity through robust modelling and validation

• Providing written and verbal commentary on performance and opportunities

• Staying ahead of emerging BI tools, technologies, and industry trends

Essential

• A degree in a numerical, analytical, or computer science discipline

• Strong Power BI skills - including data modelling, DAX, and visualisation

• Solid experience with SQL and data extraction from data warehouses

• Excellent communication and data-storytelling abilities

• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

• A track record of delivering scalable, advanced BI solutions

• Strong grasp of data transformation and visualisation best practices

• Comfortable working with large datasets and generating meaningful insights

• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and translate business needs into analytical outputs

Desirable

• Understanding of financial terminology

• Experience with large-scale cloud data warehousing

• Background in Hospitality or Retail environments
