Role Overview

They are seeking a highly motivated Solicitor with a minimum of 4+ years post-qualification experience to join their team. The successful candidate will take a lead role in their Family Law department, while also supervising matters in Immigration, Wills, and Non-Contentious Probate. This is a team leader position, requiring strong technical expertise, management skills, and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial remedies, children matters, and domestic abuse cases.
  • Strong advocacy skill required to represent clients at court.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior team members handling immigration, wills, and probate files - highly desirable.
  • Ensure high standards of client care and compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Act as a team leader, supporting colleagues with professional development and fostering a collaborative working environment.
  • Contribute to business growth through networking, client relationship management, and participation in marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee file management, billing, and time recording to meet targets.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years PQE, with a strong track record in Family Law.
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of immigration, wills, and probate matters.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
